Shipping & Delivery

At Explore Nook, we take great care in ensuring your order arrives safely and efficiently.

Our products are crafted from quality timber and designed to be made to last. As a result, they are often more substantial than mass-produced alternatives — something we’re proud of, as it reflects the durability, longevity, and craftsmanship behind every piece.

Because of this, our shipping rates are calculated at checkout to provide the most efficient and fair delivery option for your order. This approach allows us to carefully balance cost with the level of protection and handling required to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition.

Many of our customers choose to build their order with complementary pieces to make the most of delivery — creating a more complete play experience while maximising the value of shipping.

Additional Freight Information

In some cases, additional freight charges may apply, including:

  • Bulky or oversized items (clearly identified within product descriptions)
  • Large volume orders (outside of standard order sizes)
  • Deliveries to remote or regional locations

Deliveries to Western Australia and the Northern Territory may incur additional surcharges due to the nature of freight services in these regions. Any additional charges will always be communicated and approved prior to dispatch, ensuring full transparency.

We reserve the right to request additional freight charges for orders that are particularly large, heavy, or require specialised delivery. Where this applies, you will be contacted prior to dispatch and given the option to proceed or cancel your order for a full refund.

Do you deliver internationally?

Unfortunately we don't ship internationally directly. Instead, we work with trusted distribution partners in the USA, Canada, and the UK/EU. Please visit our International page to find your local distributor.

How long will my order take?

As soon as we receive your order we aim to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible. To make sure this happens efficiently, we use a broad range of both local and national couriers based on the location to which we are delivering to. Although delivery times vary, depending on your location, you should receive your order within 10 business days after order is processed.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please email us  info@explorenook.com.au If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Change of mind

If for any reason you have changed your mind about your order and would like to return your order. Please email us info@explorenook.com.au You will be responsible for shipping the item back to us in the same box/packaging it has been received. Please send us the tracking number for the returned item. Once received, you will receive a store credit for the value of the item.

Returns that are damaged, used, sent back with opened packaging, soiled or altered will not be processed, nor will they be returned to sender.

Shipping costs on returned orders and replacements are non-refundable.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have at your expense, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

If an item is damaged or faulty we will aim to replace the item. However, if an item is out of stock or discontinued, we will arrange a refund. Please contact us if you have received an item that has been damaged in the post or is faulty upon receipt. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Sales & Offers

Explore Nook  reserves the right to end any promotions, sales or discount offers at any time. Unfortunately, sale discounts can’t retrospectively be applied.

There are no refunds or exchanges accepted on Sale items or Last Chance items.

All discount codes must be entered at the checkout.

Only one discount can be used per order.
