After Wet Play
Many of our timber resources are suitable for wet play, however this is not applicable to every product. If you are unsure, please contact us for guidance.
For products used in wet play:
- They must be dried thoroughly after use
- Do not leave items wet or pack away damp
- Ensure airflow when drying
Failing to dry timber correctly may result in surface mould or wood rot.
Storage Recommendations
To maximise product lifespan:
- Store indoors
- Keep under cover and out of direct sunlight
- Avoid prolonged exposure to weather conditions
Timber resources are not designed to be left outside continuously. Direct sunlight and weather exposure will accelerate deterioration.
Ongoing Maintenance
To preserve the quality and finish of your timber:
- Lightly sand surfaces as needed to remove wear
- Reapply a suitable oil periodically (e.g. tung oil or similar)
- Maintain high-use areas more frequently
