The Pack & Stack Bundle takes something that happens every day in warehouses, construction sites, factories and shops — loading, lifting, moving and organising materials — and makes it small enough for children to work it themselves.
With a Wooden Forklift, two Mini Play Pallets, Wooden Hand Trolley and two Machine Play Crates, children can create their own working system for getting materials from A to B. Load a pallet, lift it with the forklift, move it across the play space, transfer materials to the Hand Trolley, or use the Crates to sort and organise smaller loads.
As children load, lift, push, pull, stack and unload, they begin to discover how different tools can make everyday jobs easier. They can experiment with weight, balance, positioning and movement, and work out what needs to happen next.
The bundle also connects with the Wooden Conveyor Belt, giving children another way to move materials through their system. Add loose parts, blocks, construction materials or small-world objects and suddenly the play can become a building site, warehouse, factory, shop or delivery run.
It’s a complete hands-on system for children to see, touch, change and work out how things move in the real world.
